Join us for a truly unforgettable overnight escape to witness the stirring spectacle of the world-renowned Edinburgh Military Tattoo, performed under the stars at Auckland’s iconic Eden Park. This internationally acclaimed event brings together military bands, cultural performers, dancers, and precision drill teams from across the globe for an awe-inspiring display of music, ceremony and tradition. With its dramatic lighting, rousing performances, and moving tributes, the Tattoo is an experience like no other – and it’s coming to Aotearoa for a strictly limited season.
To ensure no one misses out, we are offering three identical tours timed to match all show dates – Thursday 19th, Friday 20th, and Saturday 21st February. Each tour begins with a comfortable morning departure from Hawke’s Bay, followed by morning tea in Taupō, and a lunch stop in the quirky village of Tīrau. By mid-afternoon, we’ll arrive at Auckland’s Waipuna Hotel, a long-time Bay Tours favourite. After time to freshen up, we’ll enjoy a delicious buffet dinner at the hotel before boarding the coach for Eden Park.
With premium seats secured in Sections 410 and 411, you’ll have a great view of the pageantry and performance unfolding before you. From the booming sound of massed pipes and drums to the delicate steps of highland dancing and the thunderous excitement of military precision displays, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is both deeply moving and immensely entertaining. A 20-minute interval offers a chance to stretch your legs before the spectacle continues and concludes in signature style.
With three dates to choose from and limited tickets for each, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. Come and be part of something truly special – an evening of music, culture and pageantry that will stay with you long after the final salute.
