About Us

The tour company for Hawke’s Bay seniors

Our tour company operates an exclusive travel club for Hawke’s Bay seniors travelling as a group, with their significant other, friends or travelling alone.

We take our small, guided tours to explore New Zealand’s beautiful destinations, to live concerts and shows, local day trips and bucket list destination escapes.

Why tour with us?

From the moment you book, we take care of everything.

There’s no need for you to organise accommodation, the itinerary, meals or travel.

Simply pack your bag, and we will take care of all the other details. All our tours are guided, so you’ll always have someone to help you along the way. Every tour includes free pickup and dropoff at your front door (conditions do apply), and we only use trusted accommodation providers.

Make lifelong friends

Perfect for senior couples and people travelling alone.

One of the key features of Tour Club is the groups that come on each journey. You’re travelling with like-minded people. Many of our members have told us they have made lifelong friends from tours, so they’re ideal for seniors travelling alone because you’re never alone with friends.

There’s no easier and more enjoyable travel group than Tour Club.

Owners

Ken & Kerren Withington

Kerren & Ken have owned Bay Tours since 2012 and continue to build on company’s four decades of success.

Being self-employed for more than 35 years Kerren & Ken have always been driven by their passion for customer service and hospitality and it was inevitable that Bay Tours became the right direction for them.

Setting off as a small family business, they are proud to see the expansion of activities and destinations that Bay Tours has achieved under their care. The infectious enthusiasm and thirst for new destinations and experiences that still burns strongly in both Kerren and Ken has been at the core of this success.
