CHB Beaches & Country Pub Lunch

Join us for a relaxed day exploring some of Central Hawke’s Bay’s hidden coastal gems in high summer.  We’ll begin with a scenic drive south through the rolling countryside, stopping for morning tea at Kairakau Beach. The perfect spot for a stroll along the sand. Then it’s on to neighbouring Mangakuri Beach, another beautiful, even more off-the-beaten-track bay where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the sea air. After working up an appetite, we’ll head inland to the Patangata Tavern for a delicious two-course lunch, before finishing the day browsing the delightful Birdwoods Gallery and Sweet Shop in Havelock North. A wonderful blend of coastline, countryside, and CHB hospitality—a true Hawke’s Bay day out!
