Is there a better lunchtime view in Summer than from Peak House, halfway up Te Mata Peak? The vista stretches right across the Heretaunga Plains, northward past Napier and towards Poukawa in the south. We’ll enjoy an Entrée & Main here in the midst of Te Mata Park before returning to Havelock North and Baxter’s Sunflower field complete with a swing and other mega-photo opportunities. While we lick an ice cream, Johnathan will give us some tips on how to grow this most uplifting of flowers and you can take a giant bloom home with you.
