What's Included

Here at Bay Tours HQ, we were super-excited with a recent announcement that Lerner & Loewe’s legendary musical My Fair Lady is coming to Sydney in September. Celebrating the 70th anniversary of its Broadway debut, the production will not only be co-directed by Julie Andrews, it will be staged at the iconic Sydney Opera House.

AND WE’RE GOING!

This lavish musical catapulted Julie Andrews to stardom when she originated the role of Eliza Doolittle, an irrepressible Cockney flower girl who transforms into a lady of society. A heart-warming story of identity and change, My Fair Lady brims with razor sharp wit, unforgettable characters, fabulous costumes and a simply stunning score including ‘Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?’, ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’, ‘Get Me To The Church On Time’, ‘The Rain In Spain’, ‘ On The Street Where You Live’ and many more. Has there ever been a theatre musical with so many great songs?

From its groundbreaking multi-Tony Award winning Broadway debut to the legendary film that was awarded no less than 8 Oscars, My Fair Lady remains one of the world’s most enduring and beloved musical treasures. And to see it staged at such an incredible venue will take this experience to another level again.

We’ve secured great tickets in the production’s opening week and for 4 nights we’ll stay at the wonderful Paradox Hotel in central Sydney. Other highlights of the trip will be High Tea at the grand Fullerton Hotel prior to the show and a glorious Dinner Cruise on spectacular Sydney Harbour. But there’ll also be plenty of Free Time to catch up with friends or family, get in some shopping or simply relax and check out the many sights and sounds the city has to offer.

And speaking of sounds, September really is show time in Sydney. Both the magnificent musical The Lion King and another classic, Fiddler On The Roof, are performing in town while we’re there. A Thursday matinee, anyone?

Come and join us for another fun-filled long weekend, big-city Bay Tours adventure. This will be a small group tour, and so places are very limited. Grab your place now.
