What's Included

We’re delighted to invite you to visit and enjoy a country lunch at historic Silverford homestead – a fixture of the beautiful Dartmoor Valley for more than 120 years.

Originally designed by distinguished architect C.T. Natusch in 1904 for the owners of Silverford Station, the homestead has been fully restored and showcases its past glories in Kauri, Rimu & Matai as well as serving as a modern family home. After a lovely scenic drive, we’ll approach the homestead via its entry avenue of 100 year old oak trees to be met by current owners Janiene and David who will show us around their magnificent property. We’ll enjoy a delicious summer lunch with them followed by an opportunity to wander the established gardens afterwards.

It’s rare to be given the opportunity to take in the peaceful rural vistas and historic character of very private Silverford as well as soak up the relaxed country atmosphere over a wonderful summer meal. A perfect day of friendship, food, and fresh country air.
