Bay Tours and Charters. What amazing service older local citizens get from these people. So many of us can go on day trips and overnight breaks because of their outstanding planning and care. Nothing is a bother.

Bay Tours and Charters, we have been traveling with them for many years and the service and care is amazing.

Bay Tours and Charters provide the best service in the Bay. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I have done several trips with Bay Tours and Charters. From one day local trips to multi day cycling tours. From the moment of being picked up from my home, the friendly and helpful service continues until I am dropped home again. On top of that, I have been taken to some pretty nice places that I would not have visited on my own. And… The tour members have been great fun to get to know.

We are just wanting to say, a very big thank you to your 2 wonderful staff, Peter and Heather who hosted our last trip ‘Delights of the Hauraki Gulf’. 

Their friendliness and knowledge of where we were taken was amazing. They seamlessly made last minuet change to our itinerary, and had a Plan B organized, should the original plan be falling apart!

Deneice Marshall, took her 500^th (yes, that’s right – Five Hundred!!) tour with Bay Tours when she and others enjoyed a trip to Auckland to see Disney’s international stage production of Aladdin.

Deneice has been a member of the Tour Club since inception enjoying the thrill of shared experiences with other local Hawke’s Bay people on day rips around Hawke’s Bay, delicious  lunches at exclusive venues, over-night shows in Wellington and Auckland and multi-day tours throughout our beautiful country.

There aren’t too many places in New Zealand that Deneice hasn’t been with Bay Tours. And whilst the faces have changed over the years, some things have remained constant for all her travels – the sense of companionship with her fellow-travellers, and the personalised service from the company, right from the moment of collection from her front door.

Today, Kerren and Ken Withington, the owners of Bay Tours are celebrating Deneices’ astonishing milestone. A testimony to the the age-old concept that memories and experiences are enhanced with great company to share them with.

I swapped to the other coach yesterday, without thanking you so much for a wonderful two days. You were so efficient as a Tour Host, and we all enjoyed being guided by you. We also enjoyed all your little stories and general knowledge on the areas we went through, so thank you for being Mrs. Google so efficiently.

Jeanette and I would like to thank you most sincerely and to congratulate you on organising last weekend’s outstanding trip to Wellington to see ‘Kinky Boots’. The Show was superb and we had absolute faith in Driver Ken. Heather, our hostess for the weekend is a Gem and we were lucky to have someone who looked after us ‘oldies’ so well, Heather is an asset to your Company.

I am a member of Bay Tours Travel club. They offer day trips and trips away. Their brochure is put out twice a year and involves many choices. I do day trips which involve visiting local business, or visit gardens and homesteads. The progressive lunches are very good at good local restaurants or wineries. Then able to enjoy a special meal and some wine as we are not driving. The trips away which cover a few days always visit many different interesting places in the chosen area as well calling into places of interest on the way. The accommodation and restaurants are always very interesting and with good meals.

The driver and host for the trip are extremely kind and capable and look after everyone very well.
